As you know, I walk a lot, especially at dawn or just before in the winter months.

My vision is limited to the black and grey world of the night and moon light.

My nose on the other hand, sometimes has a field day.

Spring brings the scents of flowers as I pass by yards, lilacs being the most prominent when they are in bloom.

Summer storms from the south bring the faint hint of the ocean. I am hundreds and hundreds of miles from the Gulf of Mexico!

The other morning I stepped out and smelled cows.

I heard them the next day - there are grazing lands near us - with in a mile or so.

Sometimes I get the whiff of dryer sheets or a cigarette.

All very interesting!

Experience nature with more than your eyes!
